Meet Sama Adhami, an artist and writer based in Vienna. Born in Tehran, Iran, she spent her teenage years at Sooreh art school studying Drama, her final project involved directing and adapting Tennessee Williams’ “The Glass Menagerie”. She discovered her passion in writing when she started reading classical plays. As of October 2019, she has been studying Cross-Disciplinary Strategies. Applied Studies in Art, Philosophy, Science, and Technology at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Her work embodies the intersection of theoretical knowledge and artistic expression. With her artistic practice spanning art installation, soft sculpture, and video performance, Sama uses her interdisciplinary knowledge to create artworks that push the boundaries of traditional disciplines and artistic expression.
